DIY STOOL

i'm not much of a sewer and usually am not a big "do it yourself" kind of gal. but my kitchen stools were  boring. i mean like more boring than looking at a white piece of paper hung up and expected to be called art, kind of boring. so i got all crafty on myself and took a trip to the nearest craft store.

so when i say i like to keep things simple, i actually mean it...

so cheers to the simplest and easiest DIY project ever.

\\what you need to change your boring stools to glam stools//

1.blue tape

2. spray paint of your choice

3. patience

4. bug spray

\\steps//

BEFORE ANY STEP, PUT ON BUG SPRAY SO YOU DON'T BECOME DINNER FOR

MOSQUITOES WHILE YOU SPRAY PAINT (totally happened to me)

1. take first spray paint color and spray top of stool// wait for spray to dry

2. tape up your stool all nice and pretty 

(i taped around the side of the stool and did stripes across the top)

2.spray the top of the stool with your desired color//wait for spray to dry

3. remove tape and admire// then realize that you did a sloppy job and got the rim by mistake

4. tape up the top of the stool completely leaving the rim uncovered

5. spray desired color// let dry

6. remove tape and finish with a gloss cover
